1) Read pages 185-187
2) As a group, Brainstorm 3 aphorisms and
what they say about our culture as described in the Journal Writing on page 187.
Create one of your own.
3) Read Poor Richard’s Almanack on your own. Answer “Check Your Comprehension” questions 1,2,3 on page 189 on your own ½ sheet of paper.
4) As a group, paraphrase your favorite three aphorisms from Poor Richard’s Almanack and write down one which you disagreed with. Explain why your group didn’t agree with this aphorism.
